Having previously lived in the beautiful Poitou Charente region of South West France for over 5 years before coming to live in Rutland, we still retain our fabulous 18th century farm house for our holidays. It's an ideal location for practicing Tai Chi and Qi Gong with beautiful views, stunning countryside and complete tranquility. Together with being near some fantastic eateries, beautiful historic towns and villages and amazing countryside for walking, cycling and fishing it's just an amazing place to relax and get away from it all!
The house has three double bedrooms, a secluded private swimming pool set it lovely gardens and a choice of terraces on which to dine, sip wine, take in the peace and enjoy Tai Chi and Qi Gong workshops tailored to your individual needs.
Please click on the main picture at the top of the page, it will take you to a new window that gives a video walk through of the downstairs of the house, showing the large, well furnished lounge, dining room, kitchen, snug and upper terrace.

Vallee des Singes – A fantastic 15 hectare monkey and ape park near Civray in the Vienne the primates live out of cages – about 45 minute drive away
Oradour Sur Glane - Oradour-sur-Glane was a village that was completely destroyed by the SS in June 1944, after killing all the inhabitants, as retribution for the activities of the local resistance, during World War 2. The men of the village were all shot, and the women and children burned to death in the church, before the village was razed to the ground.
The village has been kept exactly as it was at the end of that terrible day, as a tribute and memorial to those who died. You can still see the wrecked cars, prams, and machinery, and the gutted buildings, exactly as they were left. Oradour-sur-Glane also now contains an amazing interactive museum, a tribute to the dead, and a small memorial garden. About a 1 hour drive towards Limoges
Aubterre Sur Drone & its underground church. Officially designated as one of the most beautiful villages in France, it also has an amazing church carved into the cliff face in the 12 Century, with many Knights Templar symbology,a wonderful atmosphere – it will take your breath away!
